We’ve all heard tale of BLACKBEARD, the scourge of the American coast. This legend captured our hearts and minds with the stories of his exploits, but most don’t know that he did all of it in about 8 years alongside other famous pirates of the time; including Anne Bonny and Mary Read. His real name was Edward Thatch, and he was a brilliant strategist who managed to win most battles before they even begun, scaring his prey into surrendering. 

Each liquid metal sign is cut from 1/8 inch steel plate and then hand polished. It is then heat treated and painted for color before finally being finished with a poured on epoxy coating. Because every sculpture is hand-made, no two are alike. Liquid Metal Signs comes with welded on hardware for hanging and 2-inch offsets, which allows the poster to have a floating appearance.
