Project K9 Hero

K-9 Mattis served as a Police K-9 for six years for the Alpharetta Police Department in Georgia. During his career, K-9 Mattis received the Officer of the Year and Director’s Awards, making him the most decorated dog in the history of the department. During a criminal apprehension, in which Mattis was injured during a 30-foot fall in the line of duty, he received a Purple Heart for his actions from his agency after suffering a lacerated liver and internal bleeding. In retirement, K-9 Mattis had to be rushed to the ER with Gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV), commonly referred to as "bloat." We at Project K-9 Hero were honored to help Mattis and cover the thousands of dollars for his life-saving operation. K-9 Mattis has over five million followers on his TikTok page.
Project K-9 Hero is 100% committed to financially helping K-9 Mattis and his handler, for any medical needs he may have for the rest of his life. As a national nonprofit organization, Project K-9 Hero supports Mattis by paying for his veterinarian bills, prescriptions, or any potential surgeries he may require. Proceeds from this design will go towards those costs through Project K-9 Hero's mission.
